State-of-the-art practice
We are very lucky to have an in-house smoking cessation advisor who can guide and support you once you decide to stop smoking. Smoking causes a lack of oxygen in the bloodstream so patients who smoke are far more likely to suffer with more severe gum problems. Infection in the gums is therefore more likely leading to the increase in tooth extractions. Smoking is also a major contributor for mouth and throat cancer.
